We are currently on a family holiday in Noosa and loving every minute of it.  This place is special to us as we come here every year in October.  Below are just a few family happy snaps (taken on my Iphone, so nothing too special in quality!) but just a little update of our little family x

Maggie turns one next month.  Where has the time gone?

Darcy is now 3 and a half!

Me and my girls!

Skin Jewel Tattoos

I have a new product I love!  I must admit, I love tattoos.  Well, some tattoos!  I have three and they all mean something significant to me.  However, the other day, I discovered the Skin Jewel Tattoo company which makes tattoo transfers which stay on for approximately 2-3 days.  They look so cute!  I was in a shop yesterday here in Noosa, (yes, we are on holidays...) and yes, I bought some.  Gorgeous and lots of fun!

A Visit To Melbourne and Family Portraits

A few weeks ago, I travelled to Melbourne to visit family and friends.  Whilst I was there, I met a beautiful family who commissioned me to do take their family portraits.  The sun shone and the birds were chirping.  I 'met' Alison via social media after I discovered her beautiful Instagram account (@baysidevintage) Alison runs an online retail business selling hand-picked French brocante and vintage homewares.  She posted a vintage French serving platter which I bought and still adore.  So, it was so lovely to finally meet her and her beautiful family in person!  We travelled to the Botanic Gardens and had a beautiful morning in the sunhsine with Alison, her husband Martin and their two  boys, James and Ryan.  Thank you for making my job so much fun!  Below are just a few photos captured...

Superfood Bliss Balls

I am on a wellness journey, and have been for quite some time.  By combining regular exercise, great nutrition, practicing gratitude and meditation, I can honestly say, I feel the best I have in a loooooong time!  But just because I practice a clean diet doesn't mean I don't crave treats here and there!  I have made ooooooooodles of batches of protein balls, but I believe the recipe I made yesterday is my favourite!  So - why not share it with you all!

You will need:  (Use organic products where possible)

1/2 cup LSA

1/4 cup activated buckinis

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup cashews

1/4 cup bee pollen

1/4 cup sultanas

6 dates

1/4 cup raw honey

1/4 cup cold-pressed coconut oil

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1/4 cup gogi berries

1/4 cup dried cranberries

1 1/2 tbl raw cocao

1 tblsp coconut sugar

In a food processor, combine activated buckinis, almonds, cashews, bee pollen, sultanas, shredded coconut, gogi berries and dried cranberries and pulse until fine.  Add this mixture to a large mixing bowl.  Finely chop the dates.  Add these to the mixture.  Add honey, melted coconut oil, LSA, cocao and cocnut sugar and combine with your hands.  Roll into bite size balls.  If mixure is a little crumbly, simply add extra honey or coconut oil.  I find the balls form easier if you pulse the mixture in your palm first to warm the mixute.  Refridgerate for at least 2 hours before eating!  (Will keep for up to one week)

Enjoy everybody! xx

Just Because...

I wanted to post this image, just because.  I am a lover of the Universe.  Te stars, the moon, planets.  When it's clear skies at night, you will find me for about 5 minutes outide gazing up at the stars, saying my positive affirmations in my head, thanking the Universe for what I have and am learning every day and generally being grateful...  Every full moon, I cleanse my crystals under the lunar energy.  So, next clear night, step outside and drink in the Universe...

Last weekend, I visited a nearby farm to photograph the gorgeous Clark family.  Sam is a dairy farmer, so when we settled on a time that fitted in around his milking times, we had a lovely afternoon in the sun with Sam, Catherine and their three fun, gorgeous boys!  Below are just a few photos from our lovely afternoon in the sun together.

I'm so excited to post a few photographs from a shoot I completed in Januray for the Holiday label.  It's all been secret until now!  Below are just a few images that were taken.  Thank you to Rayna Hooper and her team at Holiday, Robe and to my two beautiful models, Georgia and Amalia.  And to Mother Nature for turning on beautiful weather!

Northcott Family Fun!

I recently travelled to Merino to photograph the gorgeous, fun, quirky and divine Northcott family!  I have photographed this family before a few years ago, so it was lovely seeing them all again.  The weather was quite cool, but the sun shone and it didn't stop the fun on their beautiful farm.  Thank you to Karla, 'Norgs' and the girls for making my job so easy and so much fun!  (Karla is also a local photographer who will be photographing MY little family soon, too!)

The Hundred-Foot Journey

Last week, Rob and I had a date night!  It's a little few and far between these day with two girls, but when we go out we always have such a gorgeous time and lots of laughs!  Last week, we went out for a casual dinner and to see a movie.  When Rob discovered I was taking him to see The Hundred-Foot Foot Journey starring Helen Mirren, he was a little sceptical.  However, ten minutes into the film, I glanced over to him and the look on his face said it all!  This movie is absolutely divine.  The casting, the costumes, the sets, the direction, the scenery.  It's all flawless.  If you haven't seen it, please do!  Especially if you're like me and enjoy cooking.  Just make sure you eat BEFORE the movie and don't do what we did and sit and drool over the delicious food in the movie with empty stomachs!  (Rob is taking his mother to see it again later this week!)

A few weeks ago, I worked with Mel Von Stanke at Vanity Make-Up Bar and Body Lounge for a bridal-themed hair and make up shoot.  It was such a fun day and we all worked so well as a team and created these beautiful images using 4 local girls as models.  Thank you to Mel and her team and the 4 gorgeous gals!
