Fabulous food photography
I bought the most recent edition of the Donna Hay magazine and there is a series of fabulous food photographs. I wanted to share them with you. The colour, the texture. I love them! 
Miranda - the Multi-Tasking Mummy
I had to pop this photograph on my blog. This was taken a couple of weeks ago of Miranda Kerr at work at a fashion shoot. Complete with fully made up face and hair and red heels, she took time to feed her baby son, Flynn. Just gorgeous!
Gourmet Traveller Cover
I'm not sure if anybody else shares my enthusiasm, but I get so excited when I walk into a newsagency and see the latest Gourmet Traveller magazine sitting proudly on the shelf. This magazine is a feast for the eyes. The beautiful photography and styling as well as the gorgeous location photography on their articles of places local and overseas. This month is all about coming into the party season. And I have picked up a great trick - making ice blocks with fresh raspberries set into them. Great for those balmy summer evenings whilst watching the sun set.
Photo of the Week
I have a confession. I have a rather large addiction. An addiction to lifestyle magazines! Each month, I look forward to flicking through the pages of various publications to read about delicious recipes, beautiful holiday spots and getaways and ogling at the photographs. Each week, I will be posting my favourite photograph from one of these publications. The first is from Gourmet Traveller Magazine. A delicious Brown Sugar Sponge Cake with Caramel Pears. Technically, it's brilliant and the stylist has added props that suit the decor of the photograph. The contrasting colours work well, as orange and blue are almost complete oppsites in the colour wheel. And the syrupy topping makes you want to reach onto the page and dip your finger in! A beautiful image...
